API Services

This website provides access to the Environmental Radiation Database through an API (Application Programming Interface). The API allows users to obtain the results of environmental radiation surveys conducted by the Nuclear Regulation Authority in cooperation with relevant government agencies and all 47 prefectures.

(1) Notes for Use

To use the Environmental Radiation Database API, configure your system according to the instructions in the Environmental Radiation Database API User Guide. For more details, please refer to the guide.
(2) Handling of Provided Data

The database underlying the data provided through the Environmental Radiation Database API is frequently updated with new data. Therefore, when creating websites or applications using this API, please ensure that you use the most up-to-date data available.
(3) Credit attribution
When using this service on websites or applications, please be sure to display the following credit.
- When using the data alone
  "Information provided by the Environmental Radiation Database"
- When used in conjunction with other data
  "Environmental Radiation Data provided by: Environmental Radiation Database"
※These credits indicate that the API provided by this website is being used and that the Environmental Radiation Database API Usage Guidelines are being followed.
(4) Usage Restrictions

Usage is subject to limits on the number of requests and on the amount of data returned per request. If access significantly exceeds the specified limits on a continuous basis, API access may be disabled.
(5) Version Management

Specifications may be modified without prior notice due to the addition of new features or service changes.
